What if I don’t have any previous experience in the maritime industry?

Prior experience is not required for entry level positions such as a deckhand. 

How can I check on the status of my application?

Due to the high volume of applicants, we are unable to contact each individual applicant with an update. Once an application has been submitted, applications are then reviewed and if YRT has further interest someone within our HR department will contact you. 

What is your interview process?

The interview process begins with an in-person interview. All applicants should be prepared to take a DOT Drug Screen and have your required credentials present at the time of interview. Once completed with the in person interview further employment processing will be discussed.
